Another cold day in Espana! We have now gotten so used to this cold spell that as we leave in the morning Stephen wraps his sleeping bag over his head and I wrap a towel around mine, a la Mary n' Joseph style. We walked for a good 17km stretch without going through any towns, which in the cold, feels even longer. First chance we got, we stopped off to warm up for a bit. I decided to order a nice warm milk which was perfect as I am doing my best not to get addicted to cafe con leches, which are, trust me, highly addictive.
We are in a town now called Terradillos de los Templarios, which I'm pretty sure translates to Territory of the Templars. They have a long history in this area and there are many churches and monuments dedicated to The Knights Templar.
We are getting a tiny glimpse of the sun, it's just not as hot as we would like. It was actually hotter in Toronto before we left! At least we are staying at another nice albergue today. Stephen scoped out the rooms again and claimed us one with only three beds. Who will the lucky third be? We're crossing our fingers for the strong silent type.
Not much else to report but we are officially at the halfway mark between our starting point, St. Jean Pied de Port and Santiago de la Compostela. Feels good to be so far along and yet also hard to believe. We are getting close to Leon as well, which is supposed to be a fantastic city to explore. That's all for now, folks.
Beunos tardes...

Hi Guys, hope the weather is better for you today.
Ours hasnt been that great either. The whole
thing about the Templars is very intreging, being
a history buff, I would really enjoy being where
they travelled. Say hi to Steve!
Lots of love!
