Shacking up at the nunnery!

I thought I might get some raised eyebrows at our subject line! ;) It´s actually true. We are staying at a monastery tonight. There´s a little aubergue (hostel) attached to a church run by nuns. It´s actually a refreshing change of pace´- extremely quiet and peaceful compared to the chaotic energy of some of the bigger hostels. We are in a town called Santo Domingo de la Calzada. Good size with lots of shops and restaurants. We took a couple of accidental detours today. Our 20km walk turned into 25km! We lost the little yellow arrows that direct you to the next leg of the path. Oooops! We still made really good time. Gotta run...internet cafe is closing!

Ha ha... awesome! I went to high school next to the convent and went to nursery at one too, so ya, they're not so bad - IF YOU'RE GOOD! Otherwise, they smack you with a ruler...true story. I saw it happen :o)
