Hola amigos,
I am very tired right now as I write this. I think my body is officially ready to be done the Camino. We did just over 30km today- a light day by our recent achievements, but it still felt long. I think because we are so close now- roughly 38kms away, we are getting a bit antsy to get there. But we are going to do it in 2 days instead of one because we want to have some energy when we get to Santiago to explore a bit and enjoy a full day at a hotel. We are going to actually take a full day off there before we move on to Finisterre. I´m looking forward to waking up whenever we want and not having to walk or do anything in particular. I will say that I am proud of us for going the distance and not taking a single day off yet. When we reach Santiago, we will have walked for 30 straight days.
Today we are in Arzua, the last big town before Santiago. We are staying at a renovated albergue, quite nice, but again, misled by the guidebook, there is no kitchen and no internet. I am learning that when you pay only 3 € to stay somewhere, it´s usually just the basics. But we were spoiled yesterday at our hotel so I don´t feel too bad about it.
Stephen is napping, it´s still siesta time here, and I am across at the local bar/cafe/internet haven. Not much else to report at the moment. I am starting to get excited for Italy. We fly there on July 1st so that I can begin my singing course. One of the Italians we met already referred me to "the best pizza shop in the world" in Napoli (owned by his brother- of course). I just may have to sample a few to be sure... ;)
Hasta luego...

What an achievemnt, walking for 30 days. It will be nice not to be an a schedule and just enjoy the next part of the trip. Your poor feet wont know what to do, will suffer withdrawals. Anyway, just enjoy the next few days, we miss you and love you both.
