Calgary, 9:15pm

Well, we have officially been back in Canada for a week and it's actually hard to believe we were ever gone.  It's nice being back in a country where we can speak and understand the language and order off a menu without needing a dictionary. 

We have been staying on the outskirts of town in the expansive Calgary countryside, which is quite beautiful.  Our hosts are amazing and generous people, David, Sharon and their daughter Carly (who was in the Italian vocal program with me).  They live in a beautiful big house that has lots of space.  We really lucked out on this one :)  They have lent us a car and GPS to get around, as there isn't much transit from this part of town, and they have made us feel right at home,  They also have two big dogs, Cairo and Sydney, who I have already fallen in love with, a golden retriever and a Burmese mountain dog.

For the last week, Stephen and I have been running around, getting errands done to prepare for the holistic show, which we just finished this weekend.  All went very well...great crowds, a good amount of people into the booth and a lot of contacts made for potential future bookings.  We have rented a space inside a yoga and healing studio downtown where we will start running sessions tomorrow.  Stephen wants to work as much as possible while we're here.  He's really happy to be doing it again. 

Other than that, we've really been enjoying having a home base.  We also got gym memberships for the month- we're both looking forward to getting back into shape.  That's pretty much all there is to report for now.  Hoping you're all happy and healthy, wherever you are...
