Toronto, 8pm

Hello all,

Forgive me for not writing in a few weeks.  I guess since we've been back in Canada, I just assumed it wouldn't be as interesting to hear about our adventures on home soil, but figured it would be nice to let you all know what we've been up to lately.

We arrived in Vancouver on October 21st, so happy to be met and greeted at the airport by my good friend, Leanne.  (Or "Leannie", as Stephen and I like to call her.)  She moved out West from Toronto 2 years ago and I've missed her terribly so it was great to catch up with her and her boyfriend, Nathan.  They put us up in their apartment for two weeks and we stayed on the world's most comfortable air mattress.  It was the size of a full-on queen size bed and just as thick-- who knew an air mattress could be so luxurious?! 

We began our time there with the Body Soul and Spirit Expo, the same show we went to in Calgary.  It was actually a really good turnout but we found that the crowds were less receptive than they were in Calgary, hence our decision to come back to Toronto a week early. 

So here we are, back in the city we began from last May.  We are currently staying with Stephen's friend Sean in the East end who has an adorable daughter named Luminous who is insatiably curious and always ready to play.  They have 19 pets in the house- 13 of which are fish, a dog, a cat, a rabbit, a bird, and a couple of hamsters.  Amazingly, they all get along :) 

As of Sunday, I am taking off to the Dominican Republic to go see one of my favourite people- my friend Emily, get married on the beach.  Stephen is excited to be back doing his work which he will start next week...so all is well in our world right now.  This will probably be our last post for a while, until we begin our journeys again anyway...the current plan potentially involves pyramids and camels in the New Year...but I don't want to give it away ;)
